The club has a long and successful history, founded over 30 years ago,
making it one of the longest established clubs in the area.
The club is dedicated to the promotion and teaching of Traditional Shotokan Karate-do.

traditional training methods, the club has a successful competition record.

What people say about Chilwell Olympia Karate School...
"She is so enthusiastic about being a member of Chilwell Olympia Karate School and has made lots of friends since joining.
It is nice to be able to encourage her in doing something that not only keeps her fit but teaches her many things from discipline,
respect, confidence and something that we as parents really want, a form of self defence."
"I am really pleased with the dynamics of the club especially with the vast age difference from youngest to oldest and really like
the way that the adults, senior grades and instructors look after the younger children and are always there to help and advise, being
easily approachable."
"From what I can gather and have seen ourselves we are very lucky to have such experienced instructors within the club and local area
particularly Hanshi Asano..."
